Golden Escutcheon in Stockholm
  

The Golden Escutcheon (http://zlatyerb.obce.cz) has been chosen among 101 projects from 40 countries all around the world to join the final of the Stockholm Challenge Award 2002. The competition is declared every year by the Union of Cities and Municipalities and Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic (www.mvcr.cz), and organized by the Zlaty Erb association in cooperation with the portal Cities and municipalities on-line (http://mesta.obce.cz/).  It is the second Czech successful project after the Brezen- Mesic Internetu, which participates in the final.This year 515 projects focused on the support of information society from 80 countries engaged in the Stockholm Challenge. 

The most finalists - 16 - come from the USA, 11 are from India and 10 from Sweden. The winners will be announced in Stockholm in October (see here).
