The popular Czech nationwide campaign March-Month of Internet will be launched under the official auspices of the Delegation of the European Commission in 2003.  The annual campaign has been organised by the BMI Association already six times, and this year will bring a lot of events, conferences, workshops, meetings and contests focused on popularisation of Internet and dissemination of best practise on how to use it under the device “Internet without barriers”. This year the campaign has in sight the Internet as a tool of elimination different barriers of the life of disabled people.

The partnership in the project has been confirmed already by the Czech Post, DIGI TRADE company, Czech Radio, CTK agency, BertelsmannSpringer CZ publishers, IDG Czech, Pravo daily newspaper, Atlas.cz portal, and ICZ company.

Some contests are running already – the results will be announced during the March-Month of Internet events. It is for instance possible to register a Web site of a municipality or a region in the Golden Crest contest – the winners will be declared at the ISSS conference. More than 100 registrations already came to the Junior Internet competition launched by the occasion of the children’s` conference.
