| Junior Internet – space for cutes 21.3.2003
There were many Web sites and Web projects presented at the conference, and it was very difficult to recognise, that children or young people in the age up to eighteen make it all - not professionals. This fact was admitted also by Minister of Informatics of the Czech government Mr. Mlynar, who personally made compliments to Zdenek Cendr, winner of a special prize for his project of Superhosting. Firma Intel was the main partner of the conference and the Intel country manager Mr.Jaksic said:” It is visible, that children are interested in working with Internet. It supports their creativity and desire to educate them”. The project Enigma was awarded by the main prize.
Junior Internet 2003 was launched for the forth (4) times this year. It was invented by children and made for children and young people. Every year is organised in the frame of the March-Month of Internet campaign. It is one of the main events of the campaign launched by the eZavinac childrens magazine together with BMI Association..
