The project Bezbarier (Without barriers) has been launched recently in the Vysocina Region as a result of a common initiative of the Regional Government of Vysocina, the BMI Association and the Bezbarier Association in the frame of the Prelude project (Basic services for citizen). Help to blind people 11.8.2003 The SONS organisation and public authorities of some major cities in the Czech Republic are implementing a unique communication system for blind people in municipal public transport (electronic blind assistant). Thanks to it – blind can be more independent while travelling across the city. INSPO 2003 for Internet without barriers 24.3.2003 Internet is a very efficient tool of communication and resocialization of people with disadvantages helping them come over their handicap. It is not simple task to learn to use it the right way but it brings sensitive advantages in the communication with the rest of the society and helps to find a work. This is a main conclusion of the conference “INSPO 2003 – Internet and information systems for people with specific needs”, Prague, March 22. More than 130 people from all around the country attended the conference. INSPO 2003 program 28.2.2003 INSPO 2003 conference is one of the core event of the March-Month of Internet campaign.
